Saguaro Sunset

When I discovered the photo that this painting is inspired by, I was blown away. Living in the Sonoran Desert, I see many multi-armed cacti, but this one, with its hand-like appearance reaching for the heavens, attracted my attention. I also admired the way the cloud wisps accentuated the sunset colors.

This painting was selected for an exhibition entitled, “Greater Phoenix Pastimes” by the Greater Phoenix Economic Council in 2023.
