Lake Tahoe

In early July, 2021, my hubby and I visited one of his ski buddies in Lake Tahoe. I had never been there before and discovered a stunning place! The lake colors are reminiscent of the Caribbean with bright turquoise, blue, and green hues. I took a photo of Emerald Bay and painted it.

The painting depicts a tranquil lakeside scene viewed through a natural frame of tall evergreen trees. The deep blues of the lake contrast beautifully with the lush greens of the trees and foliage in the foreground. The composition draws the eye from the rich greenery at the bottom to the serene water and mountains in the distance, creating a calming and immersive atmosphere.
