Dracaena Plant

Over the years, I’ve grown several dracaena plants indoors but I’ve never seen one growing in a vase. Yet, the reference photo for this painting has exactly that. Since this is my first still life painting ever, I chose this one for its simplistic composition and pleasing green colors. The background allows the plant to stand out.
