Growing up in Canada, the tranquil attractiveness of winter landscapes has always resonated with me. As much as I didn’t always enjoy being outside in frosty temperatures, I admired the beauty of the bare tree with the snow clinging to its delicate branches. The cool tones and textured brushwork convey the painting’s serene stillness, evoking a sense of peace and contemplation.
