FAQ & Policies
If you don’t find answers to your questions, please email me at: [email protected].
Absolutely. First of all, my site is SSL encrypted and protected through my web host, BlueHost. That prevents hackers from seeing or stealing any information transferred, including personal or financial data. Plus, I use PayPal as a third-party payment vendor, so you have PayPal Purchase Protection.
I realize that buying an art product online without seeing it in person is difficult. If you are not satisfied with your painting, you have 7 days from receipt to return it in its original condition with the Certificate of Authenticity. You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Once I receive it, I will refund your payment.
*Please email me the tracking number so I can follow its return.
If your painting is damaged during shipment, please read, “Artwork Damaged in Transit.”
Please consider:
Unlike an art gallery, I am a micro artist/business owner. I incur costs to process your payment and package and ship your artwork to you. In addition, there are many art buyer scams that have negatively impacted individual artists.
Before buying art, please ensure that you have checked the dimensions for the space you have in mind. If you’d like to see what a painting will look like in your room, contact me with a photo and I will send you a mockup.
YES. Each painting is one of a kind.
Yes. You can also add a message when you check out and I’ll include a complimentary gift card.
I (Elaine Fogel) retain the copyright to my original artwork in perpetuity.
A Certificate of Authenticity is a document that certifies that my artwork is authentic and original.
Gallery wrap is when the painting image appears on the front and sides of the canvas. Museum wrap is when the sides are painted a solid color. In museum wraps, I complement the painting by using a color that’s within the artwork, or I paint it to look like a frame.
Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the painting. As an emerging artist, my original art is affordable for most collectors.
All prices listed are in USD.
That would be great! Contact me to discuss your needs.
Yes! I offer trade discount pricing to professionals. Please contact me directly.
No, I don’t automatically prepare paintings for hanging for two reasons.
- Some homeowners and rental tenants don’t want to damage their walls with nails. For this purpose, using picture hanging adhesive strips is preferable.
- Some buyers have plans to frame their painting, requiring wiring afterwards.
If you plan to hang your painting without a frame and prefer that I prepare it for hanging, let me know in “Customer Notes” on the order page and I’ll wire it prior to shipping.
Yes, specific paintings are available to purchase on Saatchi Art as prints on fine art paper or canvas, with or without a frame. Look for this image on the painting description page and click it for pricing and sizes.
Some of my artwork is also available framed on Redbubble.
My prints are fulfilled by Saatchi Art, “the world’s leading online art gallery.”
Canvas Prints
Canvas prints are museum grade Giclée reproductions, matte textured (20.5 mil), bright white, poly-cotton blend with no additives and no agents. The Giclée ink jet receptor is specifically designed for the reproduction of acrylic and oil based pigments using state-of-the-art digital “droplet on demand” archival quality pigmented ink technology, capable of reproducing more than 36,000,000 unique possible colors.
Kiln dried, knot free, finger jointed wood stretcher bars are hand cut and assembled to Saatchi’s thirty standard sizes. All wood comes from renewable forests, for a planet-friendly art reproduction. Canvases are affixed to the stretcher bars using a patent pending “Sure Grip” process. The unique rubber washer provides an even, expandable tension, which allows the canvas to breath, avoiding “canvas wrinkling.” They arrive stretched and ready to hang or frame. Each canvas is coated with a UV protective layer designed specifically for our canvas and ink, protecting from scratches and sunlight.
Fine Art Paper
Fine Art Paper is European-made and manufactured exclusively for Saatchi Art’s specifications. It has a natural white finish with a slightly structured, soft-textured surface, similar to traditional watercolor or etching paper. No bleach is used for whitening. The open and absorbent surface is sealed with a matte receptive coating, designed for high quality fine art and soft photographic reproduction, consistent with inkjet Giclée technology. Each Fine Art Paper Print carries an additional 3” white paper border. For example, if a 16” x 20” image is ordered, the outside trim size of the paper will be 19” x 23”.
- 310 GSM
- 100% Cotton linters (short fibers)

Optional Frame
Fine Art print frames have a width of 1¾” and are made of 100% real wood with a matte black or matte white enamel finish. Shatterproof plexiglass is used for safe delivery and improved UV protection. Framed prints are final sale items.

Artwork Damaged in Transit
I’ll package your artwork carefully for shipping. Although it’s a rare occurrence, sometimes a shipment can get damaged in transit. If you notice any damage to the shipping box when you receive your artwork, please take a digital photo of the damage before you open the box. If your painting has also been damaged, take closeup photos of the artwork and contact me within 48 hours so that I can resolve the issue with the shipper.
Please keep all shipping materials that came with your artwork. I will need this information to provide to the shipper.
If your painting has been slightly damaged, and you still wish to keep it, contact me with digital images and I will issue you an appropriate rebate according to the level of damage.
Please remember that each painting is one of a kind.
Returning Damaged Artwork
If your painting is damaged in transit and you do not wish to keep it, I will arrange for a refund upon receiving the damaged artwork and corresponding Certificate of Authenticity.
Should you wish to order another painting instead of receiving a refund, I’ll gladly apply the cost to a replacement painting.
To return damaged artwork, please mail it to:
